Convening at the 2019 Singapore Economic Review Conference, the Special ADBI Session on Fintech, Financial Inclusion, and Financial Literacy in Asia will explore how financial education programs can contribute positively to the ability of households and SMEs in the region to take advantage of increased access to financial resources. It will also examine the potential for financial technology (fintech) developments to improve financial inclusion as well as ways to mitigate the risks fintech poses to the conventional banking sector and financial stability.
OBJECTIVES
