Financial inclusion and literacy are becoming mainstream policy priorities for boosting inclusive and sustainable growth in emerging economies in Asia and the Pacific. Expanding financial access through innovative institutions and technologies requires concomitant development of financial regulation to ensure financial stability and protection of financial services users.
