The conference will be focusing on climate issues, potential and development opportunities, cross-border collaboration, multipurpose developments, as well as technical, environmental and financial challenges, covering all regions of the African continent in the hydro-power sector. While this event will also explore the barriers facing the sector, it will begin a real conversation on how to recognize all the benefits of hydropower.
At this critical time for the hydro sector, the forum will bring together industry leaders and political influencers to debate and discuss the key issues facing the industry and the event will also cater for a vast array of those involved in the hydro sector in Africa. Hydro and pumped storage developers (large and small), financiers and professional services, public sector agencies, community groups, engineers, scientists, academics, as well as anyone who has a part to play in either developing new innovations for the sector or who is already part of the wider supply chain will discuss important issues facing the industry.
