Our theme for the event is (Re)construction and Renewal(s), which seems appropriate in the shadow of hurricane Ian. This could be subject to change, as our plans for the conference have already been adjusted somewhat in the wake of Ian.

While the event will feature discussion on the ILS and catastrophe bond market recovery following another very major loss event, the ongoing construction of the ILS asset class will also be discussed and how learnings from the latest event can be applied, to broaden the ILS market's offering, making it a source of sustainable growth for investors and sustainable protection for cedents.
