The National Payment Center of Excellence (NPCE) has a modernization initiative to streamline business processes and improve user experience. NPCE will modernize in which will become Payments on Demand in the future state.
Moving to Payments on Demand will simultaneously improve the user experience of federal agency users and public-facing users. In its future state, Payments on Demand will continue to allow federal agencies the ability to authorize funds for their recipients and recipients will continue to securely request payments. Payments On Demand will improve customer service, enhance the user experience, simplify data insights, and provide more robust reporting functionality.
NPCE will begin hosting virtual demos and feedback sessions with agency users as we develop Payments on Demand. These sessions are opportunities for federal agencies and staff to be included in shaping the future state experience of Payments on Demand.
