As policymakers and industry leaders promote the development of green finance in Asia and globally, GFMA and ASIFMA have increasingly worked with public and private stakeholders to build understanding of how capital markets can be best leveraged to support sustainable economic growth. This conference, organized in partnership with the UN Climate Change Secretariat (UNFCCC) and UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), will highlight the key role the financial services industry must play in the transition to sustainable development, including the mainstreaming of green securities and how enthusiasm for such financial instruments has grown among investors.
