How Digital Innovation Can Help Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Access Finance in Asia Asian Development Bank Institute and National Credit Bureau Bangkok, Thailand.

The conference aims to stimulate research among academic researchers and policy makers around the world. It will provide a framework for future analysis and monitoring to ensure growth of SME sectors and financial inclusion as innovations in financial services evolve.

ADBI will cover registration, flight, and hotel costs, plus a small lump-sum payment for one presenter of every accepted paper, who must be a citizen of an ADB member country. Papers presented at the conference will be considered for circulation as ADBI working papers, or for publication as part of a book.

We welcome paper submissions in any field related to digital innovation and SME finance, particularly those related to the following topics:

Big data, AI, and its implication on credit risk analysis of SMEs
New technology and its impact on trade finance, supply chain finance, and money transfers
Alternative funding tools, including crowdfunding and P2P lending for inclusive growth
Fintech challenges for financial regulation
Other topics related to the conference theme may be considered.
