This is a 5-day training course for the Diploma in Financial Planning which leads to the Certified Financial Planner™ designation. These courses will be delivered by an impartial trainer who is also one of our Accredited Training Providers. Over the five days, candidates will receive extensive training on what is required for the financial plan assessment in a generic form (an example case study will be used). Additionally, candidates will be allocated time during the course to work on their own plan. This course focuses on the case study section of the Diploma in Financial Planning and does not include Financial Planning & Advice training.
A certain criteria must be met to complete a successful application for the CFPTM certification.
The eligibility criteria for becoming a CFPTM is as follows:
•To hold the Diploma in Financial Planning
•An RDR compliant* qualification (with gap-fill if necessary) or current and valid SPS
•To hold CISI MCSI membership or higher
•To meet experience requirements (one year of supervised or three years of unsupervised experience)
