There are many award ceremonies, honors and trophy presentations in the IT industry: distributors honor the best manufacturers, the manufacturers honor their favorite distributors, and everyone in turn honors their best partners. Enough honor in the channel, one might think.
But an important aspect is missing: How should individual specialist retailers and system houses recognize those manufacturers and distributors who have done the best job working with them? This is exactly what the awards are for, organized by ChannelPartner in collaboration with the market research institute CONTEXT. We don't give out our award, but yours!
This awards are not intended to rub the belly of those who were particularly nice to the editorial team last year or from whom the advertising department expects particularly good business in the coming year. They are intended to provide an honest inventory of which manufacturers and distributors have made a particular commitment to the channel. The independence of the results , guaranteed by our market research partner CONTEXT, is therefore crucial for us.
