Federal incentives and the newly announced H2Hub awards are driving the development of clean hydrogen projects to serve both local demands and worldwide markets. But uncertainties still remain on how to meet the stringent Treasury and DOE requirements, as well as how to secure the long-term offtake commitments from diverse industries necessary to obtain commercial financing for these ground-breaking projects.
The Summit will bring policymakers together with hydrogen project developers, technology providers and potential hydrogen offtakers ranging from ammonia and fertilizer producers to long-haul transportation, power plant operators to leading industrial users to discuss procurements and development opportunities. The Summit will:
• Provide updates on the DOE-funded H2Hub projects, and the potential for new awards for technology development and smaller projects
