Elder Financial Abuse affects thousands of older adults each year. The fraudulent scams hitting elders can be particularly devastating, causing losses of upwards of $31 billion annually. Merck Employees Federal Credit Union is committed to combatting Elder Financial Abuse and will be hosting a Webinar with an elder financial abuse specialist from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The CFBP is a federal agency that was created in 2010 primarily focused on consumer financial protection.
