As we continue to see an increased penetration of solar and wind onto the grid, and an urgency to deploy renewable projects to fulfil impending state targets, the US is at the center of the energy storage revolution and is predicted to remain there for the foreseeable future.

With billions of USD going into the sector for financing projects, an estimated 1400 GW of renewable generation in the queue, nearly 1,900 projects and many more jostling for a place on the grid, the market is certainly on track to take the top spot in the next decade, with predictions saying that the United States will represent 75% of global energy storage demand by 2031.
Of course, major progress of any relatively nascent technology brings with it many growing pains, which we will attempt to explore and analyze at the Energy Summit.

The Summit for 2024 will be moving to a new, bigger venue in Austin to allow more room for a growing industry, along with more networking and content. We will bring together all the leading figures from across North America to discuss what needs to happen next to make sure that energy storage is able to reach its full potential.
The Summit will provide the perfect platform to connect developers and IPPs, policymakers, the finance community, EPCs, technology providers, law firms, ISOs and RTOs all with the same common aim; to drive deployment forward.
