When Susanne Chishti launched the FINTECH Circle in 2014, it became Europe’s first fintech-focused angel investor network. It has since grown to 130,000 members across entrepreneurs, investors, analysts, etc. Successful start-ups promoted by FINTECH Circle have included comparison app Bean, acquired by CompareTheMarket.com, and bookkeeping app Albert, acquired by Santander. And, in December 2021, FINTECH Circle and SFC Capital launched a new £1.5m fund to invest in UK fintech start-ups during 2022.

In this webinar, Susanne will explain the strategies she has developed to identify the financial innovations with potential and connect them with the necessary funding. As FINTECH Circle gets ready to distribute £1.5m in 2022, Susanne will explain what she looks for in fintech hopefuls. Plus, we will explore her view on the areas of finance that are still ripe for transformation, with a particular focus on accountancy. We will also discuss how the profession is set to evolve in the near-future and how the role of CAs will change as technology continues to advance.
