Associate membership in the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association provides a continuing opportunity for providers of goods, services, materials, and equipment to build and maintain networking contacts with Wisconsin's electric co-ops and others with interests and needs related to all aspects of the electric power industry.
Learning Objectives:
• Recognize where and how the financial role impacts:
• strategy development and execution
• operational plan development, execution, and review
• departmental mentorship, internal organizational responsibilities, and external responsibilities
• Correlate the skills needed to be most effective
• Understand the abilities needed to be most effective. How to develop personal areas of weakness. How to leverage your strengths.
• Discuss leadership challenges
• Create a plan to maximize effectiveness to be prepared for the role, execution while in the role, and how to respond to changing needs of the role and industry.
