Regulated in 2021, the Investment Fund in Agroindustrial Productive Chains ( Fiagro ) consists of the joining of resources from various investors to invest in agribusiness investment assets , whether of a rural real estate nature or activities related to the sector's production. The structure is intended to be similar to that of real estate funds . However, Fiagro is intended only for operations linked to agribusiness, with income periodically distributed to its shareholders.
Today, there are three categories of the product: credit rights (Fiagro-FIDC), equity (Fiagro-FIP) and real estate (Fiagro-FII), the first two being for qualified investors and only the last one ( FIIs ) for investors in general. What is the potential of such funds for the real estate market? How to enter and diversify the asset portfolio?
To clarify these issues, we will hold a special club meeting on the topic.
