Across the region, organizations are increasingly embracing a more holistic approach to their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts. Though most organizations start by focusing on environmental issues (greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, etc.), social pillar topics such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) and other employee experience–related issues (e.g., wellbeing, belonging, etc.) are rapidly gaining prominence.

While 93% of women in the IT workforce feel that they are valued and do have a voice in the organizations they represent — and 87% of female executives agree that the work they do contributes to the overall growth and success of their organizations — real-world impact is still lacking. To achieve this, organizations need to evolve and adapt their approaches and take new steps to stay ahead of issues facing women as they arise.

The 2022 edition of the IDC Women Transforming Technology Summit, which will run under the theme How Diversity Creates Innovation in the Digital Ecosystem, is a true celebration of women. It is a platform dedicated to creating a sustainable and enabling environment for women and maximizing opportunities for women in decision-making processes that affect every aspect of their lives and wellbeing.
