The increasingly widespread use of electronic health records, as well as the rise of smartwatches and other connected objects that are becoming increasingly popular and present in our lives, create a vast volume of information that can be of great help to improve the quality of health care and global health, support health promotion and prevention initiatives, as well as participate in the reduction of health costs.
This IEN Innovation workshop will provide a platform to discuss the strategic impact and potential of Big Data analytics, as well as the challenges linked to their collection, analysis and use, from a technical, organizational and ethical point of view. It will also look at the potential development and new opportunities brought by Big Data.
The aim of this IEN Innovation workshop is to present and discuss innovative solutions and the potential of this technology, leaving room for working groups and discussion among participants.
