A digital approach is necessary when your company has to compete with products from both low-wage countries and increasingly efficient competitors inside and outside your core industry. In addition, there are enormous business and financial gains to be made by betting on smart manufacturing and clicking sensors, AI and process automation on e.g. machinery, logistics and storage.
Therefore, at this conference we will focus on a digitized optimization of processes in production and process-oriented companies.
In this way, you become e.g. able to combine machines with sales forecasting and thereby plan the use of production equipment and employee allocation effectively - as well as limit material waste and downtime by optimizing production planning and conversion of production equipment.
Likewise, the technology opens up for intelligent maintenance by letting AI and sensors predict breakdowns and make maintenance timely and more cost-effective. Just as you can harvest and – far more easily than before – analyze a wealth of data on throughput time, efficiency and energy consumption.
At the same time, you get a basis for optimizing your green journey by putting your finger on exactly the places where you can minimize both the CO2 footprint and raw material waste. You will also be able to document the effort in detail to customers, business partners and authorities. Which is not entirely unimportant at a time when sustainability is increasingly becoming a regular competitive parameter - and where an actual CO2 tax is just around the corner.
The big challenge, however, is to see where the biggest business opportunities lie by connecting equipment, sensors and data and extracting business-critical insights.
You will hear about experiences from other production companies – good ones as well as more expensive ones – and be better prepared yourself to reap the benefits and avoid the pitfalls. You will also get an overview of solutions and systems that make it easier to take advantage of the possibilities in your current production equipment.
