Payment transactions are subject to constant change worldwide. In the near future, this change – driven by new regulatory requirements, increased customer expectations and increasing competitive pressure – will accelerate significantly. Payment transactions in Switzerland are also facing a major change: the introduction of instant payments. With instant payments, payments are processed within seconds, in “real time”, so to speak.
