The aim of this conference is to give a brief overview of the current spread of biometric recognition methods in Germany as well as the technological possibilities in the field of biometrics in general. She wants to answer questions such as which biometric recognition features are currently used in Germany and what is to be observed in terms of user acceptance and security. In particular, it looks at which applications are possible in the financial sector and which data protection and regulatory requirements must be met in this regard.
