During Investment Connection, CRA-eligible proposals are presented to potential funders. The lending and investment opportunities presented will be exclusively within Oklahoma. In previous events, requests ranged from $10,000 to $2.5 million, and geographic target areas ranged from single community development programs to statewide efforts.
Typical proposals address:
• Asset building and financial education
• Community facilities
• Small business development/microlending
• Neighborhood stabilization/affordable housing
• Workforce development
Presenters have 10 minutes to share information about their organization and proposal, followed by 10 minutes of questions from funders. This is an efficient way to learn about new and existing organizations and opportunities in community and economic development.
