Optimising O&M costs through innovative asset management: what are the trends in technology and digitalisation? Can the development of innovative asset management be part of the solution to finance distressed assets? Many public authorities are faced with the challenge of financing the O&M of existing infrastructure in the context of a growing disapproval of concessions and user-pays mechanisms (e.g. Radiales). In parallel, the number of greenfield projects coming to market is reducing, especially in southern Europe.
