The webinar will address the main regulatory frameworks a cross border transaction, involving Israeli targets, would trigger:
• Competition law and merger control – Transactions involving foreign corporations that are subject to merger control, Israeli unique thresholds and trends in substantive reviews of mergers in Israel;
• Sectorial licences – financial sector foreign investment review provisions, government grants and other types of restrictions to be considered by foreign investors;
• Transactions subject to increased review based on national interests (Foreign Direct Investment) and the manner in which the process is conducted.
The webinar will provide the participants with insights as to the regulatory approvals which may be required, better understanding of timelines for completion and the recommended preliminary due diligence steps.
