The conference will embody MIT’s tradition of “mens et manus” - applying technology for real-world impact - by convening a cross-section of leading academics, engineers, business executives, investors, and other experts and luminaries. Our exploration of the Future of Computing will include innovations in computing across technologies and industries, including the latest cloud and edge computing paradigms, optimized AI/ML systems leveraging custom-built hardware, cutting-edge IoT platforms, new developments in quantum computing, blockchain-enabled models of storage and computation, and advancements in cybersecurity. Together, we will delve into how these frontier technologies will shape the future and learn about the computing innovations that are being developed by the earliest stage startups to the most mature corporations alike. In doing so, we will become better-prepared to bring these technologies from concept to reality, shape how they are deployed at scale, and inspire each other to solve for a better world.
