A two-hour webinar on a review of mortgage servicing requirements.
For mortgages, many people understandably focus on the numerous application requirements. However, mortgages also have a number of servicing rules that tend to get overlooked, which include how institutions collect and process mortgage payments, help troubled borrowers, provide force-placement notices, and correct errors to accounts.
This webinar will focus on mortgage servicing as a whole. While we’ll focus on Truth-in-Lending Act/Regulation Z and RESPA/Regulation X, we’ll review other laws that may impact mortgages. We’ll distinguish between those rules that apply to all servicers and those rules that apply only to large servicers.
Please note that although the webinar will provide a quick overview of provisions regarding delinquency, the focus of this webinar will be on servicing generally.
