The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation are sponsoring a webinar. Focused on the state's Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) program, this webinar will feature presenters from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority who will describe how program funds will be used and how banks, credit unions, and community development financial institutions (CDFI) can participate. The state is explicitly seeking bank, credit union, and CDFI partners who will make loans to New Jersey small businesses using funds from the state's SSBCI allocation, as well as partnering with other SSBCI programing. The OCC's Community Affairs Officer will discuss how bank participation in the New Jersey SSBCI is treated under the Community Reinvestment Act. For more information on registration, please contact Community Affairs Officer Genny Chow with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
