This event focuses on the risk management frameworks for financial services companies. The discussion will examine how various large, medium, small and start-up firms identify, measure, monitor, and control risk. Panelist will discuss the multiple layers of risk, regulatory bodies that define risk, and various risk appetite. The importance of risk to investors and how to navigate investor’s view of risks versus their own will be emphasized. Attendees will gain insight into how various firms define and manage risk daily. Attendees will understand how and when risk appetite statements are developed, how control environments are managed, Key Risk Indicators used to monitor risk, and the importance of risk assessments.
