The mission of P20 is to make Payments Accessible, Affordable and Secure for All. We are dedicated to systemic stability and collaborative change.
The P20 was conceived in Atlanta and born at a meeting in London between the American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC) that represents the interests of over 100 Fintech and Payments industry businesses in Georgia’s “Transaction Alley” and representatives from
the UK Payments industry, government, and regulators.
P20 is a direct response to the ever-increasing need for greater regulatory clarity, consumer security and collaborative innovation as it applies to the payments industry and related aspects of FinTech. The P20 will serve as a forum for thought leadership and action, along with best practices across many areas including regulatory and compliance frameworks, and pressing issues like cybersecurity, innovation and maximising the potential of FinTech to tackle financial exclusion in developing economies around the world. The P20 Annual Meeting will rotate between London and Atlanta.
