An online discussion hosted jointly by the PLSA and Pensions for Purpose which will discuss how pension funds can introduce climate action into their investment strategies. This event is part of our Paris Alignment Forum which is launching in Q2 2021.
The founder of Pensions for Purpose will present her five-step climate action plan for pension funds looking to move to a sustainable investment approach. Pensions for Purpose has worked with a number of pension funds on their climate action strategy and she discussed some of the challenges and barriers, and ways in which these may be overcome.
She will be joined by the Chair of the PLSA. The PLSA have recently published a research paper “A changing climate - How pension funds can invest for the future” and Richard will present some of the key recommendations from this report.
These short presentations will be followed by a moderated roundtable discussion.
Participants will benefit from sharing experiences and should leave with a clear plan as to how their own
pension fund’s investments could shift towards net zero alignment by 2050.
