Financial statements convey useful financial information to investors, lenders, suppliers, and other users. Depending on the nature and size of an entity, financial statements are prepared following three financial reporting frameworks, namely: Full PFRS, PFRS for Small & Medium-sized Entities (PFRS for SMEs) and PFRS for Small Entities (PFRS for SEs). There are similarities and differences between these financial reporting frameworks. Therefore, professional accountants and statement preparers should have an understanding of these key differences.
