Labour market transformations, demographic change and evolving public expectations challenge social security systems to innovate in order to guarantee sustainability, ensure adequacy and maintain coverage for all types of workers.
At the same time, new technologies provide opportunities for social security institutions to tailor services, enhance pro-active measures and communicate with the public. In this dynamic context, the disruptive COVID-19 pandemic has triggered unprecedented social security responses and requires adapting social security strategies going forward.
What?
As the first in-presence gathering for two years, the Regional Social Security Forum for Europe, organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA), will provide a unique platform for ISSA members to analyse the short-term responses and long-term impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, discuss key social security challenges, be inspired by innovative solutions and define strategies to shape the future of social security in Europe.
Who?
The Forum will bring together CEOs and senior managers of ISSA member organizations in Europe, as well as senior government representatives, policy-makers, experts and representatives of international and regional organizations.
Languages
The languages of the Forum are English, French, German and Spanish. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in these languages and in Russian.
