On the one hand, continuous digitalization shapes existing business processes and, on the other hand, can open up and establish new business models. For both approaches, efficiency – the speed of adaptation and implementation – is often seen as the goal, which inadmissibly neglects effectiveness. Ultimately, doesn’t digitalization also have to serve people and to what extent can or must the digital future also be (more) human? In many cases, digitalization can only be effective if it provides concrete benefits to people and is accepted by them. At least as long as humans are still a significant part of the overall process
As part of this year's industry meeting, concrete practical examples of digitalization and the avoidance of possible digital fatigue will be presented and discussed with experts on stage, in plenary sessions and with virtual conference participants.
