Why live in the valley when you can live on the beach?
There are now more than 500 technology tenants who have picked LA's Silicon Beach over San Fran's Silicon Valley. With exorbitantly higher living costs up north, many Science, Tech, Engineering, and Math workers are leaving Silicon Valley and headed down to Silicon Beach. The term Silicon Beach was first designated to Santa Monica, but quickly spread south as the wave of tech tenants absorbed available space. Fast forward to today, and Silicon Beach extends to Playa Vista, El Segundo and even Hollywood.
