Smart Cities UK 2020 is now in its 5th year! To date we have engaged with over 2000 UK and European City & Town leaders! As we embark on the 5th Conference & Exhibition we will reflect on the progress made within the UK to date. We will examine the barriers which remain in place for economic & social growth addressing how we overcome them and by what means? Building on the Meeting City Challenges roadshow series and its findings we will pull the thoughts and opinions of attendees across the country to shape an agenda which reflects the current feelings towards defining what “Smart” means.
2020 will also see the 3rd annual Smart Cities UK Awards! The awards will celebrate & honour the achievements of Cities, Towns and Industry to drive economic & social improvements via innovation. The awards are free to enter, and we expect 2020 to see the most entries to date!
As always, we will have our expo area for delegates to test the latest innovations & support available including Microsoft who will showcase their Azure Sphere IoT security solutions. Alongside them & returning for 2020 we have Crown Commercial Services who will be on hand to provide guidance on new frameworks & procurement!
