As the Sohn Investment Conference enters its 26th year, it is our pleasure to announce that all proceeds we raise together will go to support Rockefeller University's cutting-edge scientific research on pediatric cancer as well as other public health priorities.
One key ingredient of nimble, data-driven scientific decision-making is access to flexible funding. However, the most original and brilliant scientists often do not have enough unrestricted funding to pursue big ideas, as traditional federal sources can often take up to a year to be approved. All proceeds raised at the 2021 Sohn Investment Conference will provide unrestricted funding that will allow Rockefeller's scientists to explore novel ideas and take the kinds of risks that lead to transformative discoveries.
