The Spanish solar photovoltaic market is Europe’s second largest market and is expected to continue is trajectory as one of the world’s most interesting markets years as the government moves toward carbon neutrality and the PPA market continues its growth. ​​

Energy storage is also expected to continue its growth as the Spanish government announced its support for the development of technology for energy storage of renewables, to increase the system’s flexibility and the stability of the network. The Strategy envisages having a storage capacity of about 20 GW by 2030 and reaching 30 GW by 2050, considering both large-scale and distributed storage*
