Family businesses are the cornerstone of the GCC economies. In uncertain times and with substantial wealth in the process of passing to a new generation, legacy planning and good governance have never been more relevant topics for both local and long term expat families. International solutions often have limited appeal to GCC families for key assets such as regional operating businesses and real estate, either for legal or cultural reasons.
