With over $33 billion being invested by the Australian Government in infrastructure, it is clear to see the efforts to improve transport assets and improve transport services across each state. Additionally, agreements under the Commonwealth’s Asset Recycling Initiative will endeavour to unlock over $23 billion in State and Territory infrastructure spending, particularly for Sydney and Melbourne Metro projects.
The industry is being challenged to rethink strategies in maintaining and upgrading ageing infrastructure and assets to deliver reliable services to the public. In its inaugural year, IQPC is proud to host the Strategic Transport Asset Management Summit 2017, bringing together key leaders in transport and Government infrastructure to deliver unique case studies and insights on enhancing maintenance and assessments of ageing transport infrastructure and assets.
