The summit is the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting for integrating and leveraging the best examples of public-private cooperation, systems thinking and Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to develop the Sustainable Development Agenda.
Taking place during the UN General Assembly, the summit engages the most relevant and influential leaders across business, government, civil society, NGOs and academia, to collaborate on and address the world’s most pressing problems.
Sessions at this summit are grouped according to themes, which align with key topics covered during the UN General Assembly.
Each group or module will:
• Spotlight leading coalitions and cross-sector initiatives, which transform commitment into action
• Leverage the most promising models of grassroots and technological entrepreneurship
• Measure progress to date and map future scenarios to inform multistakeholder efforts
