In 2020, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Guatemala / Mesoamerica, the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group (IFC), the UN Environment Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) and the Center for Action on Corporate Social Responsibility in Guatemala (CentraRSE) organized a Series of webinars on Sustainable Finance in order to demonstrate the importance of incorporating environmental, social and corporate governance criteria in the regular operations of financial entities, to reduce financial risk and to reduce the impact on the environment and biodiversity.
These webinars were aimed at managers, assistant managers and executives of financial, banking and business institutions in Guatemala and Central America, as well as senior officials from regulatory and government institutions.
