Where Standards Mean Business:
Financial standards have an outstanding track record of increasing efficiency and reducing cost in many areas of the financial industry. This forum will focus on the critical role of ISO 20022 to create the future USA payments landscape, and how to achieve this in a consistent way with similar initiatives around the globe.
We will further discuss standardisation in the context of regulatory reporting, give an end-to-end ‘standards perspective’ on the global payments innovation (gpi), and share how proper standards prevent payments fraud.
Finally, we will explore how the combination of business standards and new technologies such as block-chain and APIs is creating a brave new world.
