This event where the data and evidence community will recognize government data champions who are working on meaningful initiatives that unleash data for the public good!

We invite members of the public to nominate a government champion in 5 categories:

• Data Innovation: An official who led or participated in a novel project, activity, or program that demonstrated innovative approaches for collecting, managing, or using data that could include emerging areas such as AI/ML, privacy-preserving technologies, or blockchain
• Political Leadership: Member of Congress or senior political appointee
• Chief Data Officer: An official who implements data governance and lifecycle data management, supports an agency in meeting the requirements of the Federal Data Strategy and the OPEN Government Data Act
• Chief Evaluation Officer: An official who implements an agency evaluation policy or program
• Statistical Official: The head of a federal statistical agency or unit who implements the principles and practices of the federal statistical system
