The Euromoney / ECBC Covered Bond Congress 2018 | Euromoney Conferences | 13 September 2018 | Munich, Germany

This is the largest annual meeting of the global covered bond community; in 2017 over 1,080 investors, issuers, regulators and intermediaries attended. They came from 42 countries, which reflects the market’s ongoing growth into new jurisdictions. This event is instrumental in the dialogue between the market and its regulators, in the education of investors and in the debates which shape the future of the market.

In 2018, the market will have to adapt to the proposed European Covered Bond Directive - the first draft of which was published in March this year, as well as the likely withdrawal of the ECB purchase programme.

In addition to the topics specific to the covered bond market, this event will also cover the wider context, from the geopolitical environment to regulatory changes to alternative forms of bank funding.

The Euromoney/ECBC Covered Bond Congress, now in its 16th year, will undoubtedly cement its position as the leading global covered bond conference.
