This event offers 139,000 sq ft of best in class sustainable office space across two buildings ‘Bronze’ and ‘Phosphor’ set around a landscaped public courtyard. Inspired by its industrial past and built for the future, The Forge is Landsec’s first Net Zero Carbon development and the first major commercial development in the world to be built using the highly sustainable platform approach to design for manufacture and assembly (P-DFMA) helping to achieve c.25% reduction in embodied carbon emissions.
Targeted BREEAM Excellent, NABERS UK 5 Stars and WELL Gold, The Forge is committed to delivering sustainable operations and wellbeing to its community. Powered with 100% renewable electricity, including the use of 107 PV panels generating electricity onsite, high performance glazing to optimise temperatures and lighting and rainwater harvesting system, The Forge goes a long way to help achieve occupiers own climate goals and reduced their own carbon footprint.
