The customer in focus
Customer behavior did not change significantly due to Corona - banks have to provide their customers with innovative and convenient digital solutions at all times. The banking app is increasingly coming into focus. For banks, too, "customer centricity" means consistently focusing on the customer and aligning the offers accordingly. At the same time, the competition is enormous, especially in the retail market. Traditional credit institutions, online banks and fintechs are in competition.
It also remains to be seen how the big digital players like Meta, Alphabet and Apple will act in the future. The established banks are therefore under pressure from several sides and have to adapt to changed market conditions.
