All countries are not equal in fostering social trust. For example, as The Economist notes, "The Nordics dominate indices of competitiveness as well as of well-being". In this webinar, Dr. Zhu will discuss her study in which she and her colleague find that an important characteristic of countries where we find strong corporate social responsibility, which has often been overlooked, is the level of societal trust, which can help to foster cooperation within corporations.
