This webinar will unpick key aspects of Intellectual Property (IP) protections that investors should be aware of when considering investing in a deal. IP is one of the most valuable assets owned by a technology company, but can also be one of the most challenging areas if the company has not developed a strategy or taken the right steps to protect their IP.
During this session will look at the key areas of IP protection you should investigate during your DD, including existing claims to ownership over IP, Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, and more. We’ll also explore the importance of IP disclosure when it comes to drawing up the legal documents and what rights investors have during this phase.
