The Satoshi Awards recognize those courageous people in blockchain and cryptocurrency and their world changing ideas and efforts.

The great promise of blockchain technology is the freedom it offers from central control structures, delivering the ability to perform secure transactions directly between the hands of the parties involved without relying on intermediaries. Along with the promise come many obstacles which must be overcome if we are to realize our vision.

Towards this end, The Satoshi Awards have been established to honor the teams and individuals that have contributed to humanitarian blockchain projects in an ethical manner, advancing the ideals of freedom, protecting the rights of individuals and our egalitarian principles.
