Looking back at a decade of growing national and international interest. The collaboration between UNITI and the consulting company stolte consult has remained both a constant and a guarantee of success.

The UNITI Cards and Automation Forum is now not only the European industry platform for the petroleum industry, but also – in this historic pandemic environment – constitutes the “restarting point” for the 2021 business year. It provides targeted information regarding the strategic developments and trends in the petrol station business taking place in connection with vehicle-based mobile commerce and digital marketing, as well as topics relating to the national and European card and payment business.

The Forum uses its content increasingly to depict the mobility of the future as well as the future relationships and business models shared by the petroleum industry, the OEMs and the payment industry. This is taking place against the background of radical changes involving climate protection, the decarbonization in energy policy, and new forms of mobility. And all of this must take into consideration the effects of the pandemic and of progressive digitalisation.

With the aid of selected trendsetting corporate concepts, the Forum describes the changes taking place in the service station ecosystem. In so doing, it highlights resulting new business opportunities in particular, as well as promising business models and cooperation opportunities for petroleum companies.

The keynote speeches and the major industry roundtables on both days of the Forum in turn offer an opportunity for an intensive exchange of information and opinions at the top management level. The same holds true for the selection from the excellent workshops on specific topic offered by the Forum, with which each participant can determine individual focal points for a personal Forum programme.
