HOPE, Oportun and Propel have been named finalists in The Wall Street Journal’s Financial Inclusion Challenge, part of an initiative to highlight the struggles that millions of Americans face in attaining financial security.
The three are among the more than 120 for-profit and non-profit enterprises to enter the Challenge, sponsored by MetLife Foundation. The finalists were selected by a panel of independent judges, who evaluated each enterprise for its innovation, scalability, sustainability and impact.
